What Is A Trichoplax?

A Trichoplax is one of the simplest organisms you can find. It has no discernible organs or structure, and is basically a flat blob of tissue that moves around. Is it alive? I don't know. But I thought I'd ruminate on other conundrums in this space.

I Agree

Is Your Knowledge of Biblical References in Literature Important?

BBC seems to think so. They reference an author who thinks that we're stupider as a society (I paraphrase) because we don't recognize Biblical references from the great classics of literature. Then they remedy that by providing a quiz here that tests your knowledge of both literature and the Bible. I got 8 out of 10 to which BBC says, "The truth shall make you free." Well said.

Merely an experiment.

As I'll likely be writing more soon I decided it might be time to jump into this blogging thing. Plus, my wife has inspired me with her diligence in writing on her blog, Abounding In Hope. I tend to think too much when writing, but as I write more I think less... Or maybe it's the other way around. Either way, hopefully everyone will enjoy this, including myself.
